The project features a full flash site and includes a fallback in html for SEO. Mox is used to maintain content for both the flash and the fallback.

In collaboration with Sony Ericsson, Dolce&Gabbana bring the world a stylish new mobile phone – Jaloy by Dolce&Gabbana. The phone was launched today with a campaign both in print and online, in select countries. For the online campaign, which you can find at sonyericsson.com,we at Bazooka developed the concept, the design and the code. The campaign site draws its inspiration from the mystical and beautiful gangster-themed promotional film made by creative directors Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, and director Cyril Guyot. The site gives you a closer look at the phone, and also the promotional film, in which all the models wear the Dolce&Gabbana Fall Winter 2009/2010 collection.

Sollentuna Centrum has been renovating their mall and this past friday Bazooka launched their new website. Built on Bazment by Bazooka. Front-end, flash and design also by Bazooka.

Together with communications agency Trackster we’ve produced a campaign for Folktandvården (Public dental service) in Stockholm.

The campaign targets our youth to mind their dental status but still inspire snuggling activities.

MER and Ettelva Arkitekter have joined their efforts and released one new site each. Bazooka made the design, back-end and front-end for the sites. Back-end was built in Bazment, with the same installation for both sites and the image viewer was built in Flash/AS3. Graphic identity for both companies made by Anders Malmströmer. SonyEricsson just released their new site, which incorporates their recently announced visual identity. We at Bazooka have been busy all summer working on different parts of the site. Besides a brand new product demo player, we’ve also coded the HTML-templates for the product pages, as well as a region-chooser implemented in Flash.

A lot of effort has been made into making better use of different kinds of media when showcasing the products. Some phones, such as the Yari, are introduced with a Flash demo, highlighting the main features of the product. The demos include a 3D-presentation of the phone, video clips and image galleries. Visitors can also embed parts of the presentation on their site or blog.

Not all products have a Flash demo, so in these cases a fallback is provided, which still gives a nice user experience. The visitor can view a slideshow, and in some cases video clips. Another detail we think is kind of cool, is the font used for headings. Custom fonts have long been an issue on the web, especially on highly dynamic sites such as SonyEricsson’s. Headings using custom fonts are usually done with images, or sometimes using Flash. We solved this by using Cufón, a font solution based on Javascript, which gives the page nice HTML while still keeping the headings pretty. Neat!

This past friday bazooka helped TouringX launch abbaworld.com. Bazooka was involved through the whole process from design and concept to front-end development and backend-integration in Drupal.
